I really like getting the donor updates and seeing photos after a project is funded. It makes the whole thing feel more real, like you can actually see where your help went. Sometimes the emails take a little while to come through, and a few are short, but I don’t know, it still feels like a good way to support teachers and classrooms

I was able to find projects on the site, so it definitely does what it’s supposed to do, but the whole experience felt a bit clunky to me. Some pages took longer to load than I expected, and I found myself waiting around more than I’d like. The filters also confused me a little because I wasn’t always sure if they were applying correctly or if I needed to change something else. So overall, it works, and I did eventually find what I was looking for, but it could be smoother and more straightforward

The kids’ little notes made my day. I’m always complaining about how busy things get, how tired I am, how nobody notices the small stuff, and then I get these sweet notes and it just turns everything around. Seriously, I complain a lot, but this was such a nice little reminder.

I’m usually careful about where I put my info online, so it matters to me that I haven’t felt like my details were being passed around everywhere. The emails are also totally manageable—mostly receipts or actual updates, not nonstop junk. And if you don’t want certain messages, unsubscribing is easy enough. I know it’s a small thing, but that kind of respect makes me more comfortable using the site.

I donated through DonorsChoose and later needed the tax receipt for filing. Luckily, it was easy enough to find in my email, and all the details I needed were there.
The only small downside is that I wish the receipt area in my account were a little more obvious. I had to click around for a few minutes, but it wasn’t a huge deal.

Overall, it worked fine and I didn’t need to contact support, which I always appreciate. A minor hiccup, but nothing that would stop me from using it again.
